Welcome to the Northwest Crossing Saturday Farmers Market!

Every Saturday 10am ~ 2pm between May 30th-September 26th

This market, and its farm-to-table way of life, has been connecting families and farmers with artisans and small business owners for nineteen years now.  We love how the market brings attendees closer to their food sources, promotes healthy living, and celebrates this amazing neighborhood and its many awesome shops and businesses!

Look for fresh produce, meats, cheeses, eggs, flowers, hand-crafted items, and tasty food and drink each week. So, please join us, each Saturday, 10am – 2pm, from May 30th to September 26th ~ we can’t wait to see you!

We’re deeply grateful to our farmers, food artisans, and loyal shoppers who make this market thrive. Your support not only sustains local producers but also brings life and connection to our community and neighboring NWX businesses.

Market Staff

What goes into hosting a farmers market of this scale? It starts with a visionary partner like West Bend Property Company, which began supporting the market 19 years ago—providing staffing, resources, and marketing to help bring this vibrant space to life. Behind the scenes are years of leadership, plus a dedicated operations crew that’s up by 5am to close streets, set up tents, tables, umbrellas, linens, signage, and zero waste stations—and return it all to order by the end of the day.

A dedicated market director and her team handle everything from vendor recruitment and outreach to on-the-ground coordination, greeting over 200 vendors each week with a smile. Permits are secured, sponsors nurtured, and every detail tended to by a committed team. This market runs on vision, grit, and heart—and we’re lucky to have all three.

Melissa King

Market Director

Melissa has been coordinating and managing events in Oregon for the past 15 years. She has overseen events such as Munch and Music, Munch and Movies, Hullabaloo, the Bend Spring, Summer and Fall Festivals, and Clear Summer Nights just to name a few. This is her sixth consecutive year (8 years total) as the Market Director, and it is her pride and joy! Melissa’s favorite aspect of the job is getting up there early each Saturday, watching the Sunrise, knowing there is a fresh market on the horizon and witnessing the beauty of the streets filling up with vendors and patrons alike!

Lou Crooks

Market Assistant Manager

Lauranne "Lou" Crooks is a seasoned event coordinator and sales & marketing pro with a strong background in breweries, cideries, and beverage distribution. Todd Harmon

Operations Manager

Originally from Seattle and a proud WSU grad, Todd brings his rock 'n roll spirit and sports radio roots to the farmers market scene. With a background working for record labels and behind-the-scenes on live productions, he knows how to make things happen—loud, fast, and flawlessly. Todd is the first to arrive and the last to leave, making sure every tent is tight and every vendor is happy. Equal parts roadie and right-hand man, he’s the dependable force keeping market mornings smooth and smiles wide.
